That was 5 years ago?!
I started by a outlining the the idea into a narrative. This involved creating shot lists and drawing out a storyboard.
I filmed everything by myself, using a tripod and a camera.
Because this was created during the COVID-19 pandemic, I did not have access to a proper green screen set (quarantine sucks!).
So, I grabbed a green bed sheet, taped it on the wall, and filmed myself "running" in front of it. I took that footage and insert it into the scene.
Inspired by the virtual world in Wreck it Ralph 2, I wanted to create a virtual world where social media comes to play. (Hint: Twitter's bird and Snapchat's ghost).
I stuck into a sunset-ish color palette and drew the assets on Adobe Illustrator.
Finally, I put together all the components and spent 5486 hours editing on Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro.
